Multi-media performance & installation

HUHB

Eyebeam's Museum of Art & Technology-NY

Founding members: Prema Murthy, Jeff Gompertz and Eugene Thacker.

The underlying themes of these projects drew upon concepts of networks, consumerism, memory and surveillance in relation to virtual and physical bodies. Using video, performance, sound, and Internet broadcasting, we created networked environments within virtual and physical spaces.

These multi-media installations were exhibited in a variety of public spaces in the New York area that included an abandoned meat locker, a disused warehouse, and the Roseland Ballroom, as well as public access cable television, and CUseeMe.
