Interactive video installation with bio-feedback sensors

This video installation stems from a series of biofeedback experiments I conducted using the television and an IBVA (Interactive Brainwave Visual Analyzer) system. The experiments were based on neuro-scientific research that explained how the movement of lines of resolution on a television screen induces a trance-like state of daydreaming.

Research for this project was done in conjunction with the Time's Up Organization for the Closing the Loop Festival in Linz, Austria. Production was done during an artist residency at Harvestworks, NY.

Shown at the World Views exhibtion, World Trade Center, NY. Organized by the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
