Morphogenesis, 2007

Premiered at the Borderline Video Festival at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Morphogenesis was created by mapping demographic data of the population of Beijing onto points of virtual bodies. Over time, the data formed, deformed and animated the figures, rendering the city as a dynamic, living organism.
